World Drivers & North American Drivers

You guys have learned in a very natural way. Your driver training is very informal. Here its the opposite. If you get an instructor who is not so experienced, he/she will feel you are not quiet the finished product. However you are generally - believe it or not - very advanced and experienced. You dont need to learn some strange way to drive to pass your test. You are 90% already there. As I have already mentioned crossing your hands is not a big deal. We can organise your test date to order. Driving Test schedules change all the time. We have the time and flexibiloity to cater for your needs. Driving Examiners want to see an experienced and organised driver, driving within the Highway code. I call this Uk Test style. Like a job interview. You have to be able to show off your CV. But essentially the Examiner wants to see a sensible drive. 99% of drivers are fine. Accidents happen because of too much speed and lack of attention. Research has shown that a very large proportion of accidents happen within a half a mile of peoples homes. Why? Because its the home stretch and theres a tendency to get complacent.

Other Driving Schools

Most driving schools deal with a large variety of clients. From beginners to very advanced. When you contact one of these schools its as if you are joining a big motorway with lots of different cars. In other words you are just another customer. They will either expect you to book your driving test or they will book it 5 or 6 weeks from now.

If you have booked your test they will be reluctant to take you if it is at short notice because they will have to cancell other driving lessons to accomodate you. Also the Test centre you have gone for may be out of their area.

Also the way you prepare an advanced driver for a Driving Test is different to the way you prepare a beginner. Use of mirrors is also an important issue on the Driving Test. Use them before you slow down or stop, before you signal and before you change your lane or position. Most of this you do anyway. You are not a beginner. The driving examiner wants to see an experienced driver, not a clone.

I specialise in Driving Tests. I specialise in organising and getting you ready as soon as you want. If you want to wait 5 or 6 weeks thats fine also. I always have plenty of space because I run out of clients very quickly. Because my clients pass quickly. On average for the past 10 years I do about 5 to 6 Driving Tests a week. I know the different test centres. There is quite a variety. Some are very complex, others are very straightforward. Fastrak will choose one with care.
